Hello! This looks like a great product for our garage floor. What would you recommend for the garage walls (and basement walls)? They have not been painted in decades, have been known to get damp (even wet after heavy rainfall). Would you recommend sanding first (with what product), then priming (with anything in particular), and then painting? We'd like a product that is eco-friendly/non-toxic/low-VOC but that will also hopefully protect against moisture/mildew etc. Thanks very much! View answer

Our house was built in 1967. The trim board in the basement is still just painted with the original black, flat finish paint which I tested as positive for lead with a test kit purchased from a local big box store. There may be some type of white primer under the black as I can see white under the black on some spots on a door frame where the paint has rubbed off.
