Hi! I'm getting ready to paint new unfinished maple kitchen cabinets. Should I use a primer? I'm planning on using AFM paint in semi-gloss but am unsure if I should use something like AcryLacq on top? Thanks!

Yes, primers are always recommended on raw wood to seal it and provide good adhesion. Use AFM Transitional Primer for that. Then use 2 coats of AFM Ecolacq which is a tintable version of Acrylacq. It was designed specifically for kitchen cabinets and provides a very hard durable finish.
