For already primed doors do I need transitional primer or ecolacq sandable primer?

If your doors are primed with a water based primer and you are not trying to achieve anything specific (like encapsulate off-gassing from chemicals in the primer or door itself) then you can just paint over the primer you have with a water based product like Ecolacq.If you do want to encapsulate chemical off-gassing that was in the primer or the door, then we recommend a coat of AFM Safecoat Transitional Primer.
