I am looking to paint some concrete blocks to use as planters for edible plants that I will be planting outside. What paint is recommended for that as the concern is we do not want to use something that would leach into the plants we eat?

For the interior of your concrete blocks we recommend AFM Safecoat Dynoseal, it will offer sealing protection, hold up great to moisture and will not leach into the soil. For the exterior if you want to make your concrete blocks colorful, you can certainly use ECOS Exterior Concrete Porch and Floor Paint or AFM Safecoat Concrete Floor Paint.
