I am looking for a primer that will work for both new drywall (approx. 120 sf) and previously painted walls (approx. 120 sf) Will the ECOS Universal Primer fit the bill? (I know ECOS has the Interior Wall primer meant specifically for new drywall, but I'd prefer not to buy two cans of different primers. That would be a bit too much primer.) Thank you! View answer

our walls were painted with PPG paint and now I am getting a skin rash from the off gassing. saw that the can had a warning about this. a preservative called KAPHON is in it and through allergy testing I am allergic to this. Do you have a product that would seal this in and allow me to paint it with a similar color that's non-allergenic? it's not the odor that's the problem but this chemical that is being used wide spread as a preservative. Does AFM SafeCoat, Concrete Floor Paint block formaldehyde emissions? At first I was looking at AFM Safecoat Safeseal to put on part of the concrete floor to seal in formaldehyde, but that's only for plywood type surfaces apparently. But I liked that one because it blocked/sealed formaldehyde 100% and was very low VOC (around 22). View answer

I am using Densarmour plus drywall. It calls for a high solid primer because the fiberglass has a rougher texture and needs smoothing out. It calls for a 3/8 nap for roller application. will the new drywall primecoat that you sell be thick enough (High solid rating)? Thanks, Dan Barry View answer
