We are painting all new trim, our customer is VERY VERY sensitive to many things. We've used your ecolacq sandable primer. Lots of bleed thru for our Poplar Wood, is your transitional primer sandable? I believe the only products we are approved to use are the AFM Safecoat products. View answer

Hello. I recently enclosed my patio for my cats. A semi gloss metal paint was recommended for my walls for easy cleanup. Now, I'm worried the paint is toxic and contains harmful glycols. I want to repaint the walls but need to put a primer or barrier on the walls to seal the toxic paint. What do you recommend? Thank you View answer

Hello I have metal plant stands and I was wondering if I paint them with this product (after sanding and priming) if this paint can be absorbed by the terra-cotta pots I place on top and then have potential to leach into my soil? Perhaps I'm being too cautious, but I'm trying to ensure that my balcony garden veggies are as safe as possible. Thank you! View answer

Hello, I am trying to decide between AFM primer that seals in vocs or Ecos air purifying primer. I might end up having to use a different zero voc brand latex or acrylic paint that our contractors can purchase quickly. Could you tell me what would be the best primer to use in a mixer of new drywall and older painted drywall that will be zero voc and help seal up the smells and chemicals from the new drywall ? Can I paint my old concrete basement floor with this? Does it require a primer? I have sealed small cracks that naturally form in the basement concrete through time. Our concrete was poured in the 70s and is still in good shape. Looking to make it look nicer. Not heavily used and will put throw rugs or carpet in areas over it. I am chemically sensitive. Will this work for our basement? View answer

After removing a shower surround some mold was found on the wood support. I cleaned it with vinegar & water and then followed this up with bleach & water. it's better but still visible. I am concerned that mold will get reactivated with moisture; we will install a tub/shower in this space. Can this product be used to seal the mold? View answer

AFM Safecoat information states "For raw wood surfaces, use AFM's Ecolacq Sandable Primer."OSB generally counts as "raw wood", so should the AFM Ecolacq Sandable Primer be used? More specifically, for stud framing, should the Ecolacq Sandable Primer be used before CaliWel? View answer
