In this case, we would recommend using the AFM New Wallboard Primecoat over the knockdown texture.
I'm putting new drywall knockdown texture over a combination of previously painted walls and new sheetrock. Should I use AFM transitional primer or AFM new wallboard primecoat on top of the drywall texture? SAMPLE - AFM SafeCoat, New Wallboard Primecoat Paints & Primers
