Hi!We are building a wooden bookshelf indoors and we need a product that gives some protection for the wood but it does not change the appearance of the wood. We would like to keep the untreated appearance of the wood (no yellowing, no shiny surface). Is it possible with this product? View answer

Hi there, I'm doing a cedar T&G cabin restoration and I'm looking for a clear coat that will not change the natural look whatsoever. My client had a mold problem due to no ventilation, humid climate & no circulation. I sanded and prepared all the cedar for paint. My clients love the look of the natural cedar, they want to keep this look but every transparent product I've tested so far darkens it. She also wants a gloss on the ceilings and flat on the walls which is basically asking for the impossible to have a variation in the colors but keep the natural Cedar color. Is there a clear or water based transparent product that has had success with this? Any suggestions would be sincerely appreciated! View answer

I have 2 inch thick white oak countertops. 4 months ago I naturally "stained" them with a water and coffee combo. They have been dry for 4 months. Can I use this- safe coat naturals clear penetrating oil- over them as they are? Or do I have to try to sand out the dry coffee stain. (Online most people coffee stain with coffee and vinegar, I did not do that.) Thank you!! View answer

Hello,I used Klean Strip Green Adhesive Remover to remove floor adhesive from 8x10 cement floor. I did my best to clean it up afterwards. Then I used DRYLOK Floor & Wall Masonry Waterproofer to seal the cement. After letting the small room air out for a few weeks using a large fan and fresh air, there is a strong odor that is bothersome and irritating to my eyes and nose. It seems to be the Klean Strip Green Adhesive Remover odor that is still off gassing after 6 weeks. Will AFM SafeCoat Hard Seal be the correct product to seal in this odor? Thanks,Kevin View answer

I have been searching everywhere and I cannot find a solution to how to remove polywhey. I understand that it is a good product but I do not like the look of it on my indoor trim at all. I cannot find product lists, and when I called the company all they would tell me is that it contains whey and that I should sand it off. Given that this is an indoor application, that just isn't feasible. Everything has a solvent but I just can't figure out (short of using a horrible paint stripper) how to remove it without sanding? Will this work on Baltic birch that will be exposed to high temperatures, as well as sub freezing temperatures? Looking to seal the interior of a teardrop trailer that will be stored outdoors in Nevada. I'm steering away from the polyureseal as blushing from condensation is a possibility. View answer
