Hello, I have 1 gallon of the SafeCoat Polyureseal in matte and 1 gallon in satin. I will likely need to use 2 gallons for my project, 1 initial coat and then a second on top. Is it possible to mix the two gallons together and then proceed with my project, or should I use the matte first and then follow it up with the satin? View answer

I will soon be building a small barn that will house 8 chickens and 3 Nigerian Dwarf goats. We will put in a plywood floor (with some insulation beneath). On top of the plywood, I'll lay down horse mats and then the hay. My contractor has asked me to find a product to safely (for the animals) seal the plywood. Would one or your products work? We might also paint the plywood, although since it will be covered up, that doesn't make sense. View answer

Hi. I read one of these answers wrong I think. I'm working on a butcher block countertop. I was planning on using this product. I already have now. But now I've decided I need to stain the countertop. Is it possible to use Rubio Monocoat 2C Oil stain on the wood and apply this on top for extra protection? TIA for your help. View answer

If I just want to preserve the appearance of the exterior of my redwood garden boxes and not concern myself with preserving the interior, could I just use this product and not need to put the AFM Safecoat Dynoseal on the interior? Do I need to be concerned with this product leaching any chemicals into the soil without the interior coating? View answer

I see that to get the best natural wood look, I should use gloss for first coat and then the satin. I have your Safecoat Hardseal product in gloss. Would this be ok to use with the acrylaq? Do I even need the acrylaq or should I order the Safecoat Hardseal in satin? It's for a kitchen table. View answer

I have gutted an area of my house (kitchen and one bedroom) that has some chemical off gassing and possible moisture issues. At this point, it is down to studs and a concrete slab floor. Some of the wooden framework is made with pressure-treated wood. My plan is to coat all of the studs with SafeSeal Hardcoat. But before I do, I was wondering if you have another recommendation. I've gotten interested in color washing walls. Every "recipe" I've seen so far has used latex glaze that has high vocs. Will this work as a substitute, mixed with an acrylic paint and water to color wash over an existing acrylic layer? I am looking at using Behr premium plus paint which is acrylic. View answer
