We have a table being built from red oak to be a base for our farmhouse sink. This will go into our laundry room and be consistently used. I need a stain and a top coat. This is a nice combination of both, also being user green friendly is a bonus. Would this work for this project?Taking into consideration this table will not be outside, but inside. It needs to be waterproof. View answer

Since this is a low VOC product and not VOC free, doesn't it also emit at least low levels of VOCs into the air and if so, is there a timeline for it to stop? I would like to use this product over a "low VOC" finish on the interior of a buffet cabinet that is still off-gassing (the exterior is not), even after sitting in an open-air screened in porch for 8 months. it's lacquer finish is supposedly a low VOC product. I saw a video regarding the difference in color between the AFM SafeCoat Polyureseal BP sheens (gloss is milky white, clear, and the satin and (I assume) matte are colored. The video states that they both dry clear, but the satin and matte may "build up" a color on the surface if more than one coat is used. Here is my question: will the Acrylacq in matte also do this? Is it clear or "muddy" like the satin/matte Polyureseal BP? I have white kitchen cabinets that I want to keep a matte sheen, but not change the color with several coats of sealer. View answer

I bought a piece of wood furniture, used, that has a perfume smell (most likely from being polished with a scented wood polish and probably petroleum distillates in it). I can smell the perfume scent when I am near the furniture. I cannot just wash it off/out as it has penetrated the wood. What is the best product to use to coat the entire piece, inside and out (it's a hutch/cabinet piece) so that the perfume odor is blocked/encapsulated and no longer releasing into my home's air? Thank you! View answer

Is this the Best Safecoat Product to seal an Indoor Concrete Floor Slab to protect against Moisture Intrusion via the Concrete Floor Slab before applying a Vinyl sheet & then installing new Cork Floor Panels? Or is there a better Safecoat Product for protecting Moisture Intrusion underneath a Vinyl Liner beneath new Cork Flooring Tiles that will be installed 'Floating' & NOT Glued. View answer
