Howdy! I'm building a outdoor cat yurt structure using a mix of pressure treated new lumber and salvaged wood. Do I need to wait the 6-8 months for the pressure treated wood to season outside before applying this? And will this combat the wood greying from UV?

You will want to wait the 8 months because it's pressure treated. And this product isn't a UV protector.For UV protection we would recommend Vermont Natural Coatings PolyWhey Exterior Penetrating Stain instead, although you would still need that waiting time with the pressure treated wood, the PolyWhey resists UV rays, mold, and mildew.
