Hello, I am interested in this product. Like many people here, I've recently refinished some rooms in my house with an oil based poly and the smell still isn't gone. I'd like to finish the rest with this product, but I'm worried about it not matching the rest of the floors. I have 100- year-old red oak that's being sanded and refinished. Will this finish give the floors a similar look in terms of color, to a classic poly finish? Thank you! View answer

Q1: We want to use the VNC Penetrating stain for our fence. We have way too much fence to try and sand. Is pressure washing with a 3400 psi washer and the 30 degree tip as effective as sanding to clean the wood and open it up to receive the penetrating stain?Q2: Based on what I have seen on our deck which was previously improperly stained. It looks like the pressure washer would be as effective if not more effective than sanding to remove the old stain, Would you agree? View answer

I just finished overhauling some ratty wood outdoor rocking chairs. I primed them with water based Latex wood primer then hand painted them with acrylic paints. I am looking for a glossy non yellowing water based top coat to seal them .. would this work? Does this item work well for items outside in heat and cold? Does it have any UV resistant properties? The chairs will sit under a covered porch so they won't be directly exposed to weather extremes. View answer
