Hello,we are considering an exposed cement concrete flooring and are wondering how to seal it. I do have very severe chemical sensitivities (MCS). Is the polyureseal suitable for this kind of application? Are there better options?Any help would be much appreciated.Kind greetings Lenny View answer

I live in a warm climate and have likely missed the window of opportunity for handling all the steps in a single day (permabond, quickcrete, two coats of deck revive). I will have about three hours in the morning that i can work before the deck is above 85 degrees. I'm in the process of putting down Varathane Floor Finish (oil-based polyurethane). I have two coats on OSB (I'm using DriCore as basement flooring). Unfortunately, I was unaware of just how toxic polyurethane is and am concerned about the potential long duration of off-gassing. First, I am working with raw, unfinished wood. Do I need to use a different penetrating oil, such as your hard oil, first? The description seems to think so, but most of the recommendations in the answer sections do not. Second, can a normal paint be applied over top of this finish? I'm trying to find a safe way to make wooden cake toppers.
