I see that to get the best natural wood look, I should use gloss for first coat and then the satin. I have your Safecoat Hardseal product in gloss. Would this be ok to use with the acrylaq? Do I even need the acrylaq or should I order the Safecoat Hardseal in satin? It's for a kitchen table. View answer

Hi- I want to use one coat of your Oil Wax followed by two coats of Vermont Natural PolyWhey Floor Finish on our sanded floors. How long would you recommend letting the Oil Wax dry before applying the PolyWhey? I did a test with about 24 hours drying and it seems good, but wanted to get your input. Thanks! View answer

Hi. I read one of these answers wrong I think. I'm working on a butcher block countertop. I was planning on using this product. I already have now. But now I've decided I need to stain the countertop. Is it possible to use Rubio Monocoat 2C Oil stain on the wood and apply this on top for extra protection? TIA for your help. View answer

We recently bought a house with a wood front gate. It appears to be quarter sawn yellow pine. Whatever was used as the initial stain is now flaking off. You can rub your hand across the surface and it comes off down to the bare wood. This is the side of the gate that gets the afternoon sun. From what I have read, the PolyWhey Penetrating Exterior Stain seems to be the best choice. I have a couple of questions though. Will this stain work as stated on yellow pine? Can the stains be tinted as the Acorn Brown is not dark enough? Is there a darker color? View answer

Hello! I am looking for a non-toxic top coat for a solid wood dining table (pine) that has been stained with ecopaints stain. We are looking for a matte top coat that has little to no shine and that will help protect the table top from food/stains and also make it easier to wipe down with a wet cloth. Can you advise which product you would recommend? View answer

Hi, I have an rv with a fiberglass shell, one piece, that I'm remodeling due to interior water damage. I have stripped it entirely, repaired the leaks around the window and door and now want to waterproof seal the interior fiberglass shell before insulating and putting the walls back on. What product would you suggest for priming and sealing? Do you also have a foam insulation you would recommend? View answer
