I have old engineered 3 ply tongue and groove floor tiles from the 1960's and recently had bug bombs set off in the house which of course left the residue on the floor soo I had it cleaned with Castile soap and water but the guys doing the cleaning in the living room used a little too much soap and water in the living room so not much finish left there. I will be moving into the house in a couple of weeks or less .
