I've dresser drawers with an unpleasant smell when they are opened. These are solid wood for the sides and plywood for the bottom. I can't distinguish whether the smell is from the wood, or from the plywood. I want to seal it to eliminate off-gassing. I am considering various AFM Safecoat products.1. I inherited an old house with damaged cork tile with lots of cat urine (smelly). Some of the cork tiles are ruined, soaked with urine. To add to the problem, a lot of the cats are still here; most behave, but a few don't (they are indoor cats, I plan to rehome them soon). Enzymatic odor removers work well (should work...forever? - things like Angry Orange, Rocco & Roxie Professional Strength Stain & Odor Eliminator). Can I use the Enzymatic odor remover, then apply AFM SafeCoat Polyureseal BP or other AFM sealing product (please advise which) to seal the old cork tile, and then put your waterproof cork (floating) over it. I don't want to lay your waterproof cork flooring and then smell urine. Please advise? -Beverly View answer
