I need to seal in the off gassing from an IKEA particle board kitchen cabinet thats got melamine foil on the outside and plastic edging. Would this product be the best or would another product work better? It also needs to be durable and provide a waterproof barrier against atmospheric moisture (its in an RV) and water spills from the sink thats above it. Mold and mildew protection in addition would be ideal. Thank you. View answer

We are using interior plywood as a temporary floor in our yurt. Do we need to seal both sides of the sheet? The interior plywood we will use as a temp floor sits on a platform of exterior plywood and will be covered with the interior plywood, do we need to seal the exterior plywood of the platform too? I discovered oak floors in my kitchen after pulling up layers of vinyl flooring. I want to sand the floor and protect with a non-toxic product that will stand up to a kitchen, My concern is to protect a floor susceptible to water food splashes etc. I can't leave the home and am sensitive to toxic fumes. What product would you recommend? View answer

Hi! Frequent shopper from your inventory. I have a new dresser in solid parawood to build for my son. I discovered that the back panels and bases to the drawers are plywood/particle board. I want to use the maple stain but which sealer is the best for sealing out any off gassing, that is also the safest for his clothing to touch? View answer

Can I seal unpainted wood toys with either the Polyureseal BP or Hardseal? I know it says non-toxic but I'm not sure if this applies to the liquid or cured state of the finish. Toddlers like to put stuff in their mouth and I need to be sure this is non-toxic when that happens. View answer
