Will this AFM SafeCoat Polyureseal BP *prevent yellowing* if applied to new, sanded Hoop Pine Plywood (similar to Baltic Birch Plywood) over time? I want to preserve the light, natural color of the wood, so prefer not to use any stain. And will it be successful in repelling moisture, or is there another product to finish/seal with? I plan to install the plywood on the walls and ceiling of my tiny house. View answer

Looking at buying a home with knotty pine paneling, flooring, and cabinets. The previous owner smoked and the smell is lingering throughout the home. We suspect they were stained with an oil based product, along with an oil based polyurethane finish. Is there anything we can do to encapsulate the smell? View answer

Hi, I'm wondering if this product could be used to protect from off-gassing from a linoleum floor? The finish has worn off due to faulty cleaning, and is now off-gassing. we'd prefer to not change the floor entirely. Would this or another product help seal the off-gassing, and could it be used on organic materials such as linoleum? (don't want to risk microbial growth). Thanks a lot! View answer

I need to seal in the off gassing from an IKEA particle board kitchen cabinet that's got melamine foil on the outside and plastic edging. Would this product be the best or would another product work better? It also needs to be durable and provide a waterproof barrier against atmospheric moisture (it's in an RV) and water spills from the sink that's above it. Mold and mildew protection in addition would be ideal. Thank you. View answer

New hardwood floors were stained and sealed with water based polyurethane. 4 months later, I still smell things in our home. I believe it is coming from the flooring. Would this product be able to go right over the boards, and does it seal in whatever might be coming through? View answer
