Hi, I would like to created a mixture of semi gloss and eggshell transparent/translucent glazed finish with a sponged and brushed copper and bronze finish over a deep red and or terracotta wall. I like the idea of either outright metallic pigments or more of a pearlescent finish. Do you have any suggestions for green product options? View answer

I'm trying to replace carpeted rooms with something more kid and pet friendly. A living room, bedrooms playroom, and an office. I like Marmoleum and my husband like bamboo. It appears that marmoleum can last 100 years and still look good, while bamboo reviews put it's lifespan at 20 years and don't say anything about it's recyclability. But from a DIY installation of click tiles, which of these two will hold up better to wear, nails, spills, scrapes, etc? The rest of the house is hardwood and I don't want to replace something that's not broken but I also don't want to cut more trees to make it all match. So these two types seem the most environmental. I'm intrigued by the possibilities of this floor. Are there room scenes to give a sense of scale? As this is not a click floor, can you cut the boards to be whatever length to do a customized chevron pattern? Is there precedent in mixing the two chevron floor panels together to add zig zag color patterns? Thank you for all you do, I am new here but absolutely love your website! View answer

I'm looking to get the toxic smell out of my kitchen cabinets, which are brand new. I'm not really looking to paint them since they are white and I love the color. Which products would be best to use with this process? I'm reading about the Polyureseal (satin and gloss). I believe the cabinets made from wood. View answer

we live in a new building (6 years old) with slab floor that was not originally planned as living space without a moisture barrier under slab. Can we use this to seal the slab to put wool carpet on slab, or do you recommend another product? We used 6 mil plastic and some of our rooms have musty odor and after pulling 90 dollar a yard wool carpeting up we noticed a white residue under plastic and super strong musty odor. we read that mildew can form between concrete slab and plastic underlayment. I have a some questions concerning your GBS Penetrating concrete sealer. I want to use it on a basement floor that has some areas that were ground down to make it level. It also has some areas the were patched with a concrete patch. Do I need to etch the concrete where it was ground and patched? Also how long can it be stored? I want to order it now when it will not get cold during shipping, but I plan to apply it on my basement floor later this winter. I can store it so it will not get cold and the basement room will be heated as well. Thanks , Julie View answer

Hello, im a block printer and use linoleum sometimes.I'm looking to use this material to carve designs into and run through an etching press. Was wondering if the surface is completely smooth or does it have a texture on its face side? It says smooth but compared to what? Need it to be as smooth as paper or smoother. View answer
