Would this work for adhering furniture linoleum to plywood?

Forbo (the manufacturer) recommends using their L 910W Wall & Countertop Adhesive for adhering their furniture linoleum. The Almighty Adhesive is too thick and not spreadable easily with a trowel. Forbo will not warrant their product over this product either.
