The DIY recommendation seems to be "backer rod plus caulk." The home owner asked me to use clear caulk, which is one reason I am looking at this product. If the cork flooring is truly waterproof why do you need a moisture barrier to install over a concrete basement floor? I would be concerned that I would be trapping moisture underneath the floor rather than letting it escape. This escaped moisture would then be sent out using a dehumidifier. I just want to make sure I'm not creating another health risk my trapping the moisture. View answer
