Per ChemLink, M-1 Universal Structural Adhesive/Sealant will adhere to the aluminum facer without any compatibility issues.
I need an adhesive caulk for installing Thermax rigid foam in my rim joists. I know you have to be careful not to use petroleum-based adhesives or it will "melt." Just double-checking that this isn't? AFM Safecoat Almighty Adhesive, 10.1-Ounce Caulks, Sealants & Adhesives
