I have new cabinets. We had them custom built and they were to us a specialties coat for sensitive people. They are still off gassing after 3 months. We do not want to re topcoat them. Would any of your cleaning or no glass wipe on products be of any help and ok to use on wood varnished doors? View answer

Hi, I have just moved into a rental property that has had new carpet and underlay installed about 2 weeks ago. I have MCS and don't think either carpet or underlay is low VOC. Can I treat just the carpet with this system or will I need to also treat the underlay? Ideally, I wouldn't have to remove the carpet and can fix the problem by sealing just the carpet itself. Hi there. The synthetic carpet in the house we recently purchased was apparently fitted in 2015. The info provided about AFM's Carpet Seal suggests that you might only need to use this is the carpet is under 4 years old. Is this true? And is this because carpet backing has typically stopped off gassing after 4 years? If I don't need to use the Carpet Seal, would you still recommend using AFM's Carpet Lock Out to prevent off gassing of the fibers? If so, does this product also need to be re-applied on a yearly basis and how long do the fibers typically continue to offgas? View answer

I installed new carpet two years ago, but I could not stand the new carpet smell. Like a fool, I looked up on the internet what would reduce the smell and found out about baking soda. I sprinkled baking soda on the carpet and let it sit for 24 hours. The smell is pretty much gone. But since then I have not been able to get rid of the baking soda in the carpet. It gives me a sore throat and nose bleeds because every time I vacuum the small baking soda particles go back into the air and dries it out. No matter how many times I vacuum or carpet clean I can't get all the baking soda out of the carpet. Will this product seal the the baking soda in the carpet, so there is not an issue with fine dust in the air anymore? View answer
