Should I use this if I can't seal in all sides of the pressboard? I have a couch, and some of the surfaces are covered by fabric or are so internal that I can't get to them. I'm creating closet shelves with raw MDF boards. I'm concerned about formaldehyde off-gassing from the MDF. How to incorporate the odor-blocking sealants into my workflow? Apply AFM Safecoat Hard Seal (or is Safe Seal better here?) on the raw MDF, wait for sealer to dry, then apply primer and cabinet paint?
