Hi, would this work for installing commercial carpet tiles on a concrete basement floor? The tiles are rubber backed. The basement is in a raised ranch so partly below ground but not wet. If the cork flooring is truly waterproof why do you need a moisture barrier to install over a concrete basement floor? I would be concerned that I would be trapping moisture underneath the floor rather than letting it escape. This escaped moisture would then be sent out using a dehumidifier. I just want to make sure I'm not creating another health risk my trapping the moisture. View answer
