Is there an expiration date? My husband opened a tube that we had sitting in the garage for a couple of years and it has a very strong smell upon application and now hours later. Should we be concerned?

We reached out to AFM Safecoat and they said "If the caulk was still malleable it should be okay. The odor should dissipate within 24-36 hours. Ideally we would like the customers to use the caulk within a year of purchase."
