Our goal is to have a floor that has good cushioning, insulation, soundproofing and can hold up to furniture and foot traffic (2nd floor bedroom, office, playroom). I'm torn between Cork or Marmoleum.I'd like your opinion on the durability of the Go-cork plank product. Indenting, fading and non-waterproof seem to be the main marks against it. Can you interpret these numbers? From what I can see on this website, the Cork has IIC 58, STC 54, r-value: ? compared to Marmoleum IIC57, ASTM E 492, STC ?, r-value 0.53.Am I to understand that marmoleum plank has almost similar properties to Cork plank?
