We are looking for something super durable that dries hard to protect our flooring that does not require us to leave our house for days due to off gassing. Do you have any products you'd recommend? our walls were painted with PPG paint and now I am getting a skin rash from the off gassing. saw that the can had a warning about this. a preservative called KAPHON is in it and through allergy testing I am allergic to this. Do you have a product that would seal this in and allow me to paint it with a similar color that's non-allergenic? it's not the odor that's the problem but this chemical that is being used wide spread as a preservative. I've used SafeCoat Acrylacq in Satin few years ago on the wood wall panels, and I really liked it. Now, I have another project - a tabletop - to finish, and am looking for the same finish, but cannot find Satin anywhere. What would you recommend:should I just use less layers of Gloss finish, or is there another suitable AFM no VOC, water based product in Satin? View answer
