Do you have an enamel paint that you would recommend for maple kitchen cabinets? We want a matte finish in an off white. Also, do you have customers who use these products for kitchen cabinets often, or any referrals of companies that use these products?

For kitchen cabinets we recommend our EcoLacq product which comes in a clear, or it can be tinted to any color. It's a lacquer that comes in a gloss sheen. Generally, we don't recommend a flat or matte paint for cabinets because oil and dirt seem to adhere more easily than eggshell, semi-gloss or gloss. Our semi-gloss paint performs most closely to an enamel paint. According to AFM, there are several cabinet manufacturers that are using this product for their non-toxic cabinetry. We've had good success with this product for many decades, and now tinting makes it even more versatile as a finish. This is our go-to product for wood cabinets or millwork.
