Would there be any issues with installing in an unheated sunroom (with concrete subfloor)? My sunroom is not climate controlled (heated or cooled) and I would like to install cork flooring in it. I don't believe the temperature will wildly fluctuate in a short period of time and the room is fairly insulated. But I am in New York State and it does get cold outside. I'm creating closet shelves with raw MDF boards. I'm concerned about formaldehyde off-gassing from the MDF. How to incorporate the odor-blocking sealants into my workflow? Apply AFM Safecoat Hard Seal (or is Safe Seal better here?) on the raw MDF, wait for sealer to dry, then apply primer and cabinet paint? Our house was built in 1967. The trim board in the basement is still just painted with the original black, flat finish paint which I tested as positive for lead with a test kit purchased from a local big box store. There may be some type of white primer under the black as I can see white under the black on some spots on a door frame where the paint has rubbed off.
