Could the EarthWeave Enertia carpet padding be used for the floor of a sleeping loft (minimal foot traffic) without having any carpet over it? I was thinking of several layers of it to make a soft sleeping surface (with sheets over a portion of it). Would it shed too much or would the surface come apart? View answer

our walls were painted with PPG paint and now I am getting a skin rash from the off gassing. saw that the can had a warning about this. a preservative called KAPHON is in it and through allergy testing I am allergic to this. Do you have a product that would seal this in and allow me to paint it with a similar color that's non-allergenic? it's not the odor that's the problem but this chemical that is being used wide spread as a preservative. I am looking for a primer that will work for both new drywall (approx. 120 sf) and previously painted walls (approx. 120 sf) Will the ECOS Universal Primer fit the bill? (I know ECOS has the Interior Wall primer meant specifically for new drywall, but I'd prefer not to buy two cans of different primers. That would be a bit too much primer.) Thank you! View answer

I need to paint a wooden bench. The wood is not treated an unpainted. So, I need a safe non-toxic paint which would also protect the bench placed on patio. The best way would be to have a clear coat to have wood structure visible, but just a paint will also work. Could you please recommend a solution? Thank you. View answer

I would like to use this on the floor at my business. I will be using a floor scrubber on it occasionally and would like it to hold up. I will be using the primer and two coats on the area after stripping it. My question is will I need to use a top coat or anything to protect it? View answer

I have removed wallpaper, filled cracks with plaster and sanded those down to create a smooth surface. There are however still some minor imperfections in the wall. Can I use this primer to form a thick smooth coating so my paint layer goes on nicely? Also I am painting a baby room, so will this have no off gassing? And if this is the right primer, what paint can you recommend that will give no voc and no off gassing? Thank you View answer
