I believe the hard seal that I ordered from a different company that was closer to me. Let it freeze during shipping. I put it on wood items and it's cloudy and uneven. Does this mean that the product is no longer usable? I don't mind using it in a garage cabinet if it's still going to work to block off gassing and give a good seal over the cabinet. Next time, I'll buy it from you and work out the longer wait time to receive it. View answer

I believe This AFM caulk was in freezing temperature during shipping because it's really hard to push out of the tube and it's still tacky after days. Not a huge deal because it's under floors, but will it still do the trick to stay in place? I'll go ahead and use the rest of them since I don't have the time to order from you this time and get quality products and quality service. I will next time! View answer

I understand the need to keep a 3/8" gap at the perimeter of a floating floor. But what happens if your product is installed in a bathroom where there will be a toilet? Toilets typically install over the flooring with caulk in the joint in between. won't this restrict the movement of the floor and possibly cause problems? View answer

I am using the Murco M100 drywall joint compound to do a skim coat over existing paint. I am planning on doing a coat of primer on the existing paint before adding the joint compound skim coat, and then another coat of primer over the joint compound before adding paint. Which type of primer would be best to use under the joint compound, and which would be best to go over the joint compound? View answer

We have put in for plywood flooring and stained with minwax stain. I'm looking for a durable varnish similar to oil based poly. We are looking for something super durable that dries hard to protect our flooring that does not require us to leave our house for days due to off gassing. Do you have any products you'd recommend? I have a project that needs to meet Indoor Airplus for DOE Certification, and the carpet pad needs to meet CRI Green Label testing. I don't see this listed as meeting that requirement, but it seems like it should based on the description. Do you know if it does or can the manufacturer provide a certified letter? View answer

Hello, I am installing a click-lock engineered hardwood flooring on top of an existing wood floor. The manufacturer recommended underlayment is a 2-in-1 foam underlayment, max 1/8" thick. A vapor barrier is important here as the level directly below is the cellar (not heated) and there is no subfloor below the existing floor. Do you recommend MP Global, QuietWalk Plus for this situation? Thank you! View answer
