Looking at Sheet Marmoleum (115 yr. old home). Subfloor is 3/4" tongue & groove boards. In order to bring the floor to the same level as the rest of the house I plan to cover with 3/8" plywood and a 1/4" layer of underlayment before the Marmoleum. I've spoken to installers and reviewed docs on Forbo's / your website and I see what NOT to use, nobody tells me WHAT to use for underlayment. Installer Suggestions : Luan (not recommended) or 4x4 OSB panels (definitely not recommended) or 1/4" sheets of sanded one side plywood with Ardex feather finish to fill/level seams (is that doable?). I don't know who to believe, tell me exactly what should be used, so I don't get any seams telegraphing or problems with installation. (I'm in Canada btw.)

Per Forbo tech, a minimum 1/4" thick, Grade A plywood is what would need to be used in a situation like this.
