I plan to install the waterproof cork on a concrete slab in a daylight basement that i recently removed glue down commercial carpet from. since removing the carpet it smells very musty down there. I was going to float the floor over the poly vapor barrier but was advised to look at this Taylor product and glue down the floor. My questions are: Will this product prevent vapor from traveling up through the slab? Will the old carpet adhesive need to be completely removed? Will scraping it off be sufficient or will it need to be sanded? Will this solve the odor problem. Thanks View answer

I have a paperstone kitchen counter and have ordered the paperstone cleaner and rejuvenator from you previously. Do you still carry it and/or know who might? Or recommend a substitute cleaner and rejuvenator for paperstone. It has a lot of watermarks around the sink area and some fading spots from sun light. Any recommendations are most appreciated. Can Caliwel be painted over Penetrating Concrete Sealer? We have some moisture in our basement well room. The walls are concrete block and we get efflorescence and mold on them. I'd like to keep the mold at bay in there, would the concrete sealer be enough or would we also need Caliwel to prevent mold growth from humidity? (We live in Minnesota, quite humid in the summers and very dry in the winter.) We aren't planning to do anything extraordinary to manage the air moisture in there, there is a door that connects to our finished family room that allows some air to move through the well room . Perhaps the penetrating concrete sealer would be enough? View answer

Hi, I would like to created a mixture of semi gloss and eggshell transparent/translucent glazed finish with a sponged and brushed copper and bronze finish over a deep red and or terracotta wall. I like the idea of either outright metallic pigments or more of a pearlescent finish. Do you have any suggestions for green product options? View answer

Since this is a low VOC product and not VOC free, doesn't it also emit at least low levels of VOCs into the air and if so, is there a timeline for it to stop? I would like to use this product over a "low VOC" finish on the interior of a buffet cabinet that is still off-gassing (the exterior is not), even after sitting in an open-air screened in porch for 8 months. it's lacquer finish is supposedly a low VOC product. My tile installer slopped thinset on my new vinyl plank floors. I asked them to clean it up, but they only partially cleaned the floors. There is a lot left that is really hard now. I didn't imagine it was going to be such a hard to remove it. Calling the tile people back is not an option at this point. What do I use that will remove the thinset without damaging the floors?
