I live in a high-rise apartment in Manhattan on the 34th floor. Do I need either of those things that you put underneath the click tiles? Will I be able to install them myself or will I need a contractor to do it? I am considering linoleum kitchen counters from a very design-forward kitchen company (I believe they use Forbo Furniture Linoleum, as the colors/names are all the same.) The kitchen company states that you can't put anything hotter than 70 Celsius on it.
