can you use this product on an exposed aggregate concrete driveway? Also, will it darken the driveway? We notice when it rains and the water soaks in, the driveway appears a little browner which matches well with our stucco home. Once this soaks in, will it dry a little deeper? View answer

I am trying to prevent off gassing in a box truck with a wooden floor. The truck was used as an automotive service vehicle, so oil spillage and potentially other automotive chemicals spilled on the wooden floor of the box. Will this product be sufficient to protect me if I treat the floors with it? I would be inside for hours at a time (I'm a technician and this truck would be my mobile workshop). View answer

Is this flooring truly non-toxic? I will be installing it in a babys room and he will be crawling in it. It says theres no ADDED lead, so does that mean there is lead in the flooring? I've also read that nano-coatings like that used in this product can abrade or otherwise leach from the surface and the particles can cause health problems. Is that a concern with this flooring? Thanks. View answer

Should I use this if I can't seal in all sides of the pressboard? I have a couch, and some of the surfaces are covered by fabric or are so internal that I can't get to them. Will it help if I only can partially seal the surfaces, or will that just prolong off gassing by not allowing the pressboard to offgas in all directions? View answer

I live in a high-rise apartment in Manhattan on the 34th floor. Do I need either of those things that you put underneath the click tiles? Will I be able to install them myself or will I need a contractor to do it? I do not have a square kitchen and I believe I would need to put the flooring underneath my refrigerator and oven because maintenance needs to be able to roll them out if they need to do a repair. Am I better off getting she flooring and can you recommend someone to install it in Manhattan that won't charge me a fortune? Thank you View answer

Hello I have moved into a man apartment with vinyl tiles and there is a heavy vinyl odour in two rooms. The tiles are very old and I see evidence of mold coming up through the seams in a few places. Its a rental and have no hope of the landlord checking the subflooring or replacing the tiles. Would this product work to seal the vinyl and also seal the seams? View answer

I am considering linoleum kitchen counters from a very design-forward kitchen company (I believe they use Forbo Furniture Linoleum, as the colors/names are all the same.) The kitchen company states that you can't put anything hotter than 70 Celsius on it. I'm fine using trivets for hot pots and pans, but I just want to make sure that one can put, say, a hot bowl of soup or hot mug of tea on it without damage? Also, how resistant (or not) is it to water damage? Will a glass of water leave a ring? Can you not have an undermounted sink with linoleum counters? What else do I need to be aware of when considering linoleum kitchen counters? View answer

I am hoping to find a cleaner that can be bought locally or made/ mixed by hand (like a vinegar/castille solution). Is there anything that could be purchased at a big box store or Ace Hardware that could be used on these floors? Thank you! Just wanting to reduce environmental impact! View answer

Hi! I have gunstock oak in my new home. Sadly, its stained different colors in different rooms. It has a natural golden finish in one room and a ore finished reddish stain in another. I want to have all of it sanded and stained a dark chocolate brown. I like brown that has more pink or chocolate undertones. I do not like grey browns or green browns. What would you suggest?
