I previously used clear caulk to prevent water from soaking through the bathtub/shower grout, but it molded pretty badly. Hi - I created a new birdbath out of concrete that has imprints of leaves on the inside. I want to seal the birdbath including the inside that will hold the water. Is there a sealer that I can use that will be non-toxic to birds? I understand that the PH will be high on fresh concrete and that there are products that can reduce the PH of the concrete before sealing it. Will that be necessary before using the sealer? Although the birdbath is large (~ 2 x 2.5 ft.) I believe that I don't need a full gallon of the product. Can I get it in smaller sizes? Thanks, Steve View answer

Hi, I'm staining my concrete floors in my basement. I have fixed some small cracks w something called quick Crete. Then sanded them down, next I will stain. Is this an appropriate sealer given I am staining and repairing the concrete first? The concrete is fairly smooth, I would like the floor to be waterproof and to protect my floors while giving a nice light sheen. Is this the right product? If not what would you recommend?
