I'm looking for a flooring for my basement. I have had dehumidifier leaks and a hot water heater massive leak across three rooms. I was ready to purchase Lakeshore XPC Luxury Vinyl Plano flooring by Viking Flooring in Northport color/style. It's 7" x 48" plank until I read more about pvc flooring. This does have an aluminum oxide wear layer on top. I always try to buy green products for our health, our inside air quality and the health of the planet, but with all my water issues in the basement, I have almost given up. What would happen to a wood floor if I had another standing water issue or just the humidity in a basement? And, I'm also looking to mimic this color/ look of the Northport.... Can you assist?
