I find the specs to not be fully informative. For example--is there Permethrin in this carpet? If so, is Permethrin really needed in a wool carpet? Is there additive/chemical in it for stain resistance? it's very hard to get a simple, full "inventory" of just what is in any carpet. View answer

How do you think this a wool rug will do with high humidity? Would it feel damp? Smell like sheep? :) Might the wool's high absorption rate lead to mold in the backing? The ambient humidity where I live is 70 - 80% but it's cool enough for the windows to be open. Thank you. View answer

Hi, I am chemically sensitive and would like to find a eco-friendly carpet--such as wool perhaps. I live in Florida and there is a lot of humidity. My condo is in a flood zone and sits on a very high water table--thus more humidity coming up from the foundation. I have been told that wool carpeting would breed mold in my situation. Do you agree with that assessment? Thank you. View answer

Hi there, I'd like a softer feel under foot and would like to use two layers of carpet padding because of the hard concrete floors. Would either this Nature's Carpet or the Earth Weave equivalent allow two layers one on top of each other without any thing to attach both layers? From bottom to top: concrete, two layers of carpet padding, then the carpet. Also, would a moisture barrier be needed if laid on top of concrete on the ground level of a single storey house without a basement? Thanks for taking time to consider my questions. View answer

We are thinking about this carpet in a custom size for our garage that we are converting into a kids bedroom. What type of material goes underneath the carpet to have it super cushiony for little kids to play on/fall down on? What is best for insulation for under this carpet to keep warm during winter months? View answer

I love, love, love this waterproof cork. Unfortunately someone dropped something really sharp on it and there is a tiny gouge in the surface--not even a divot, just a tiny bit of the surface was shaved off. What's the best product or method for repairing this? Color is Fashionable Grafite. If it were dark black I'd use a Sharpie, but this is a dark, soft gray. View answer
