I want to seal only the underside of a galvanized steel stock tank with Dynoseal. it's specs state good adhesion to metal but not specifically galvanized metals. Would it be best to apply this metal primer first then apply the Dynoseal? Are these two products chemically compatible? Is this two step process even necessary? I'm unsure if the Dynoseal will adhere well to the galv steel on it's own. Thank you! View answer

AFM Safecoat information states "For raw wood surfaces, use AFM's Ecolacq Sandable Primer."OSB generally counts as "raw wood", so should the AFM Ecolacq Sandable Primer be used? More specifically, for stud framing, should the Ecolacq Sandable Primer be used before CaliWel? View answer

We have old wallpaper to remove. Just spoke with Joel and he recommended this product. I now see that some older reviews mention that the product is not very viscous and that it's difficult to use on vertical surfaces. Is that still true for the latest, current version of the product? If the product is painted on the walls, with regular paint brush or roller, will it stay on long enough to do the job? View answer

I have a concrete floor base. I would like to have a softer surface in my bathroom and I am considering marmoleum. Can you put some type of padding on the concrete floor base, under the marmoleum to give it more cushioning effect? (I had surgery on my foot.) View answer

I'd like to use this on untreated 4x4 pine posts that will have ground contact (maybe a few inches into the ground). The upper parts will be painted with white linseed oil paint. Can I use Safeguard Roof Coat to cover the black color of the Dynoseal at the bottom to help it match the white paint? View answer

Hi there I am an artist that uses acrylic and spray paint on wood. I have been having bad asthma due to resin and the smell my acrylic markers and paint give off. I am trying to find an alternative that's healthier not going to cause asthma attacks but still keep that clear gloss shine and protection over my paintings like resin. I understand it wouldn't be waterproof because it's not resin, but will it at least be scratch proof? Does it take 2-4 weeks to fully dry if I apply 2 thin coats. My art is wood with acrylic and acrylic spray paint on top. Will this work? View answer

I am in Canada. I know you don't ship marmoleum here. Could I get a sample box though? And I am very sensitive to any smell so dismissed this product in my current Reno. In a few years I will need to replace some more floors. So linseed oil and cork are smells I react to - does the smell really go away and after how long? And you really don't need to do anything to maintain it? Or how do you maintain it. Thanks for what you do. View answer

Is this the Best Safecoat Product to seal an Indoor Concrete Floor Slab to protect against Moisture Intrusion via the Concrete Floor Slab before applying a Vinyl sheet & then installing new Cork Floor Panels? Or is there a better Safecoat Product for protecting Moisture Intrusion underneath a Vinyl Liner beneath new Cork Flooring Tiles that will be installed 'Floating' & NOT Glued. View answer
