What would you use to seal up the toxic smell of a petroleum based caulk? I tried 7 coats of Acrylacq which diminished it somewhat, but the toxic smell is still there. Would Hardseal or Polyureseal BP be a better choice? View answer

I purchased the Bioshield Stain Finish in Indigo for my cypress porch swing, I am done with staining it and it turned out absolutely beautiful by the way. I want to add sealant on this, since it is outside. I do not want it real shiny or slick, just a coat to protect mostly keep my stain beautiful.
