I'm interested in this product but curious if you can install over existing sheet vinyl. We have original sheet vinyl over 3/4 inch plywood subfloor which has some deflection. Is it advisable to put down a thicker underlayment on top first? We actually had LVT installed over the sheet vinyl with grout but the grout started to crumble immediately. So we have to start over. My wife and I are about ready to make the marmoleum click purchase, I think, haha...watched all the install videos, checked out images, etc etc...My question for today is, when you put the little spacer chips at the edges of walls in during the install-and lets fast fwd to the job being all done, do you REMOVE those spacers, and set in your baseboard/trim/bullnose/whatever you're finishing the edges with? or do those spacers need to stay in??
