I have a wooden table that I use outside on my balcony. I recently painted it with a relatively thick coat of acrylic paint and covered it with Rustoleum Triple Thick Gloss, then realized that is not really safe for a table. Would this work well to go over that top coat on a table that lives outside to protect from weather and be safe enough to eat off of (using plates, of course)? View answer

Is this the right choice to seal a wooden framed catio that looks like it's inexpensive finish won't hold up over time? I want to keep it on a covered porch. I want it to be well sealed so I can clean any cat pee off easily. What is the best product to use for this purpose? Is there something I can use without having to sand every surface? View answer

I purchased a wooden cabinet to turn into a bathroom vanity. I do not know what type of stain was used on it. I would like to apply a protective coating without sanding off the finish to protect the wood from water and general moisture in the bathroom. Would this be a good fit, even over the unknown type of stain? View answer

I am looking for a product for my new raw butcher block countertop that will not yellow or amber the wood. I know you usually recommend the penetrating oil for this purpose but when testing a sample piece of wood with mineral oil we did not love the yellow look of the wood. I assume any of the natural hemp oils/blends will do the same. I read online I need a water based sealer or finish. Which would be the safest to do so? We will not be cutting on the surface or eating directly off of it. I am also looking at your Acrylaq. Thank you for your help! Rebecca View answer

I have installed pressure treated wood as the beams beneath my kitchen. The beams are at least 24 inches above the ground and have been treated with afm safe coat safe seal or hard seal I'm not sure which. But I had an allergic reaction to the wood chips that got on my sweater and am considering replacing the wood with pine. Would this product be correct for that? The house is in florida and is subject to termite infestation. Please advise. Thanks! View answer

I purchased the Bioshield Stain Finish in Indigo for my cypress porch swing, I am done with staining it and it turned out absolutely beautiful by the way. I want to add sealant on this, since it is outside. I do not want it real shiny or slick, just a coat to protect mostly keep my stain beautiful. Do I go with the safecoat EXT Satin only or use the safecoat EXT gloss first then the satin? Thank you in advance. View answer

I am interested in using this product on pieces of wood inside a reptile enclosure. It's a high humidity enclosure and I don't want the wood rotting or mold. Would this product keep the wood dry and not harm the animal? The animal wouldn't chew on it or anything. Just crawl against it View answer
