SAMPLE - AFM SafeCoat, AcriGlaze, Matte Q&A

Hello, we are making a bed for my toddler and I stained the wood with an oil-based stain. I am not worried about chemicals, etc. I plan to let the wood cure/dry and off gas in the garage and outside for 48-72 hours before putting a finish or seal on it. I have been looking for the safest seal to put on this so that I feel comfortable having this wood as my toddlers bed. Would this seal work over oil-based stain that has been well cured? Would it completely seal/protect the wood/stain? Thanks! View answer

We are creating "hides" for small animals and reptiles out of PVC and other plastic products. We are using a water based "oil" paint to create "logs" for use in animal habitats out our zoo. We are needing a non-toxic clear sealer to protect the paint from wear. Our main concern is toxicity to the animals. Some are rodents and will chew the product. Also, does the sealer come in a spray?I saw a comment that the sealer seemed like decoupage. Would it be possible for us to mix the sealer with our paint to create a texture on our "logs?" Hi!We are building a wooden bookshelf indoors and we need a product that gives some protection for the wood but it does not change the appearance of the wood. We would like to keep the untreated appearance of the wood (no yellowing, no shiny surface). Is it possible with this product? View answer

Can this product be used to seal/protect ceramic painted tiles (Ex: acrylic paint pouring on tiles)? I am trying to find a product that is both waterproof and that can tolerate high heat - like that of hot coffee mugs. I love that this is a green product and would be excellent for someone like me that has chemical allergies!! View answer

I'm looking for a job toxic water based solution that will hold up on floors. Also we are going to be doing hardwood floors and looking for a water based solution for that as well? View answer
