I am looking to paint a metal rod to use it on a cake structure. Will this make the metal rod, food safe?

AFM Acriglaze is not meant for metal and is not food grade. Unfortunately, the only food grade, i.e. edible products are our AFM Naturals Penetrating Oil or Bioshield Herbal Oil. Neither of these will bond to metal.
