I bought AFM SafeCoat AcriGlaze a while ago for a different project I decided not to do. I was wondering if I can use this as a sealer substitute over kitchen cabinets I painted. I want a matte non-toxic sealer for the cabinet doors so they can be easily wiped down when cleaning. Will this product work? Will spills and splashes easily wipe off with this? View answer

Hi there I am an artist that uses acrylic and spray paint on wood. I have been having bad asthma due to resin and the smell my acrylic markers and paint give off. I am trying to find an alternative thats healthier not going to cause asthma attacks but still keep that clear gloss shine and protection over my paintings like resin. I understand it wouldn't be waterproof because its not resin, but will it at least be scratch proof? Does it take 2-4 weeks to fully dry if I apply 2 thin coats. My art is wood with acrylic and acrylic spray paint on top. Will this work? View answer

Hi I used to make painted wood slice necklaces where I use acrylic paint on wood slices then make them into necklaces. I used to seal them in epoxy resin but it is too toxic and not good for the environment with the plastics and microplastics. Is this product safe when dry to touch the skin? If I used this to seal my paintings on wood slices would this be waterproof and skin safe? View answer

Hi! I have gunstock oak in my new home. Sadly, its stained different colors in different rooms. It has a natural golden finish in one room and a ore finished reddish stain in another. I want to have all of it sanded and stained a dark chocolate brown. I like brown that has more pink or chocolate undertones. I do not like grey browns or green browns. What would you suggest? Hi, I am seeking a plant based/environmental friendly sealer for my wood paintings. I use mineral and earth pigment paints, basically crushed pigment powder mixed with water. Would this be the recommended product to try on my pieces? I've used Acri-Soy in the past and it can smear the paints sometimes due to its consistency. My art is made with 100% plants so everything is an experiment, but I thought I would ask in case there may be a better suggestion. Thank you. View answer
