SAMPLE - AFM SafeCoat, AcriGlaze, Matte Q&A
Activity timeframe
hi there! looking for some clear (matte or invisible) sealant for indoor, in/exterior of clay pots. I live in an awful mildewy building, and the mild/mold is so bad I think it's affecting my plants. and me obv!! it's for houseplants not edibles, but I'm sensitive to VOCs. this doesn't sound like what I'm looking for, but any other products fit that bill? I bought AFM SafeCoat AcriGlaze a while ago for a different project I decided not to do. I was wondering if I can use this as a sealer substitute over kitchen cabinets I painted. I want a matte non-toxic sealer for the cabinet doors so they can be easily wiped down when cleaning. Will this product work? Will spills and splashes easily wipe off with this? View answer

Hi there I am an artist that uses acrylic and spray paint on wood. I have been having bad asthma due to resin and the smell my acrylic markers and paint give off. I am trying to find an alternative that's healthier not going to cause asthma attacks but still keep that clear gloss shine and protection over my paintings like resin. I understand it wouldn't be waterproof because it's not resin, but will it at least be scratch proof? Does it take 2-4 weeks to fully dry if I apply 2 thin coats. My art is wood with acrylic and acrylic spray paint on top. Will this work? View answer

Hi I used to make painted wood slice necklaces where I use acrylic paint on wood slices then make them into necklaces. I used to seal them in epoxy resin but it is too toxic and not good for the environment with the plastics and microplastics. Is this product safe when dry to touch the skin? If I used this to seal my paintings on wood slices would this be waterproof and skin safe? View answer

Hi!We are building a wooden bookshelf indoors and we need a product that gives some protection for the wood but it does not change the appearance of the wood. We would like to keep the untreated appearance of the wood (no yellowing, no shiny surface). Is it possible with this product? View answer
