I inherited an old house with damaged cork tile with lots of cat urine (smelly). Some of the cork tiles are ruined, soaked with urine. To add to the problem, a lot of the cats are still here; most behave, but a few don't (they are indoor cats, I plan to rehome them soon). Enzymatic odor removers work well (should work...forever? - things like Angry Orange, Rocco & Roxie Professional Strength Stain & Odor Eliminator). Can I use the Enzymatic odor remover, then apply AFM SafeCoat Polyureseal BP or other AFM sealing product (please advise which) to seal the old cork tile, and then put your waterproof cork (floating) over it. I don't want to lay your waterproof cork flooring and then smell urine. Please advise? -Beverly View answer

Can this product be used as a mat or rug on top of hardwood floors? I am looking for a 9ft round to go under a dining table in my great room. The chairs have casters and I want to protect my hardwood floors. I would NOT want this installed but used as a rug. View answer

I need to seal a wall of windows in my apartment - i believe they are old and have issues with the seals because there are now bugs coming in (tiny ones) - Which of your products would you recommend for this project? I would prefer something clear because i don't want to accidentally mess up the windows. Thank you! View answer

I bought a condo with oil based paint and primer and the smell is horrible, even after 2 months. I want to encapsulate the smell; walls, ceilings, cabinets with this. However, this is a coastal property very close to the beach. Is water based paint going to be okay? Would latex be better? Can latex be used over this primer? View answer

I have moisture coming up from my concrete slab and wetting my carpet. I read in another's question of the correct product to use and how it would need to be used on a raw untreated floor. So my question is, when I pull my carpet and padding back how will I tell if the concrete is raw or untreated or not? Thank you Mrs Testa View answer

(Not really a question?) Sample boxes vs colors seen on computer: I have heard on this site and many others that the colors do not match the Website. This is usually used as a criticism. The color discrepancy comes from the settings on your computer and the Website. Those two will never match. Every computer is different when it comes to color. Also, you are dealing with light on your computer. It will always make colors and other items look different than in real life. THIS is why it is SO important to get the the boxes of samples; so you can see what the product REALLY looks like. Three cheers for GBS for providing the SAMPLES in a box. View answer

I have concrete block walls in my basement that have some sort of old dry loc type product on the block that's flaking off. Can this product be used as a sealer on the walls on top of the existing painted on dry loc that's flaking? Can I paint over this? I want to seal the block but also want something that won't hurt my birds or dogs on the floor above my basement. Or is there another product that would work better. View answer
