I am building a campervan and I am planning on putting the foam and foil insulation (Smart Shield from Amazon) on the ceiling (aluminum). The insulation is the thin and flexible stuff that comes rolled, I need something that will instantly be able to hold it up or I don't know how I will get it to closely and evenly bond with the ceiling so that it prevents condensation forming and deadens sound from the metal vibrating. Will this work or what do you recommend? View answer

I love, love, love this waterproof cork. Unfortunately someone dropped something really sharp on it and there is a tiny gouge in the surface--not even a divot, just a tiny bit of the surface was shaved off. What's the best product or method for repairing this? Color is Fashionable Grafite. If it were dark black I'd use a Sharpie, but this is a dark, soft gray. View answer

I was advised to use oil-based Rustoleum to seal indoor wicker furniture. The fumes were horrific. Two months later there is still a toxic smell. Is there a SafeCoat or other non-toxic clear sealer I can spray over the Rustoleum coat to eliminate lock in the fumes and lock in the wicker material so it doesn't deteriorate? Can this be used on previously painted wood? I need something to cover my back deck. I have some concerns about traces of lead dust on the deck and I think painting it could reduce the problem. The deck is quite old and a bit damp. Can I use the same product for our front door? It is basically white plastic View answer

I have a fireplace that is decorated with coarse stone surface. It costs a lot to remove the stones. Can I simply layer this clay paint over it to cover it up? Because the surface is not flat, the clay paint will be as thick as a quarter of an inch in some spots. Will it work? Thank you. View answer

I tried cleaning the mastic off of my concrete floor with 2 coats of Blue Bear but can't get it off. Would this be suitable as a primer to help paint adhere/last? Also, my paint is Safecoat brand. Are they compatible? And would I have to mix this primer with my Safecoat (so essentially would I need to buy more paint for the priming coat)? Thanks. View answer

I inherited an old house with damaged cork tile with lots of cat urine (smelly). Some of the cork tiles are ruined, soaked with urine. To add to the problem, a lot of the cats are still here; most behave, but a few don't (they are indoor cats, I plan to rehome them soon). Enzymatic odor removers work well (should work...forever? - things like Angry Orange, Rocco & Roxie Professional Strength Stain & Odor Eliminator). Can I use the Enzymatic odor remover, then apply AFM SafeCoat Polyureseal BP or other AFM sealing product (please advise which) to seal the old cork tile, and then put your waterproof cork (floating) over it. I don't want to lay your waterproof cork flooring and then smell urine. Please advise? -Beverly View answer
