Hello, I have 1 gallon of the SafeCoat Polyureseal in matte and 1 gallon in satin. I will likely need to use 2 gallons for my project, 1 initial coat and then a second on top. Is it possible to mix the two gallons together and then proceed with my project, or should I use the matte first and then follow it up with the satin? View answer

I am refinishing a set of 1940s steel cabinets. Two of the base cabinets have what I believe to be linoleum countertops. They are surrounded by stainless steel edging. There is a curve where the flat countertop and the short backsplash meet. Will your product be able to make that curve (perhaps with heat)? The widths of the cabinets are 18" and 30" so there would not be a long section needing to handle the curve. View answer

Hi. I read one of these answers wrong I think. I'm working on a butcher block countertop. I was planning on using this product. I already have now. But now I've decided I need to stain the countertop. Is it possible to use Rubio Monocoat 2C Oil stain on the wood and apply this on top for extra protection? TIA for your help. View answer

Will this work for sealing a wooden hot tub? I need a sealer that can be used to seal a fir hot tub I am building. It will be a small single person tub that is drained and filled after each use. I need a sealer that can be submerged in water up to 105 degrees F and not leach chemicals too much. View answer

Hello, used 2 coats on teak and mahogany bench swing...love the product, the way it goes on, no awful smell all great. Question: I noticed after several weeks the wood grain was raised considerably and felt dry. We tested with water and it does bead up. Is it typical for the grain to raise after application? Your specifications say the Wicanders Cork GO, has a beveled edge. But the samples I got, Whim and Charm, are not beveled and the Wicanders website says it is not beveled. I suspect this product does not have a beveled edge. Are your listed specifications a mistake? I would prefer that it not have a beveled edge. View answer

How do you think this a wool rug will do with high humidity? Would it feel damp? Smell like sheep? :) Might the wool's high absorption rate lead to mold in the backing? The ambient humidity where I live is 70 - 80% but it's cool enough for the windows to be open. Thank you. View answer

I see that to get the best natural wood look, I should use gloss for first coat and then the satin. I have your Safecoat Hardseal product in gloss. Would this be ok to use with the acrylaq? Do I even need the acrylaq or should I order the Safecoat Hardseal in satin? It's for a kitchen table. View answer
