The installer is, of course, recommending that I buy from them, filling me with horror stories of buyers who purchased online and ended up with product that had been improperly stored and was too brittle and decayed to install properly. I was advised to use oil-based Rustoleum to seal indoor wicker furniture. The fumes were horrific. Two months later there is still a toxic smell. Is there a SafeCoat or other non-toxic clear sealer I can spray over the Rustoleum coat to eliminate lock in the fumes and lock in the wicker material so it doesn't deteriorate?
