Is there any difference between the regular air purifying paint and the "ECOS OUTLET UNTINTED" paint? Sometimes "outlet" items (from other companies) can have some quality difference, even if it's minor. Thank you for your time and your great products, really love the ECOS paints. View answer

I would like to paint the concrete walls of my basement egresses white. They have some mildew I can't get off with the cleaners I have...what should I use as paint, and how should I prepare the walls? There is a bit of a plastic canopy over the egress, but not sealed. water and air gets in (I won't paint the floor of the egress). Thank you! View answer

We have a small mudroom ?? 6 x 6 ?? that we will be putting a floor over plywood substrate. I know that marmoleum gets harder with age. Will this work in a mudroom? We will have a rubber backed doormat on top of it. View answer

Is there a reason not to use the regular sheet marmoleum instead of the furniture marmoleum as a kitchen countertop? It seems like the top sealer would make it more durable and stain-resistant. Is it not a food-safe surface with the sealer? View answer

Hi, I am looking to repaint an old fence that had weathered quite a bit and hit by moss and lichen. I had cleaned it and sanded it down but looking to restore and protect it but also have a choice of colors to choose from. What would be my best bet with an environmentally responsible primer/paint/sealant? I was thinking a Safecoat transitional primer followed by their exterior paint satin but not sure? Thank you,Yaniv View answer

I am a single pregnant mom and trying to be careful with paint and primers. What do you recommend I use to prime the shelving unit and then which paint to purchase? I have a wood shelf unit in our entryway (place for boots, umbrellas, etc.) that I want to paint. Does a specific paint go w/ a specific primer? Do I need to "seal" anything with a different product before I paint? Or after I paint? (Sorry for all the questions, love your store!) View answer

My husband and I recently nailed a grid of wood two-by-fours on our bedroom wall (pine, unfinished, plenty of knotholes). I was going to paint the wall with the grids of wood nailed to it a dark color, however a professional painter told me I need to prime the boards with an oil based primer so that the knotholes don't keep bleeding through.Do you have a Safecoat that the painters can use over the white oil-based primer that can later be painted with latex paint? I want to seal in some of the oil primer's VOCs because I am six months pregnant. Then, I wanted to paint the wall a color of my choice. What would you recommend? I don't want knotholes bleeding through, but I am very concerned about the fumes. View answer

I have new masonite shelves that I need to stop the voc fumes from. Will be indoors. Preferably one coat, if it is primer. It will be in closet, so looks are not important. Would like it to be white. Also do I need to sand? Thank you for your help. Which Safecoat product would you recommend? View answer
